How does MoveReady make things go faster?

When you move home you need to get a number of things in place, such as identity documents, finance arrangements, detailed information about the property (if you're selling) and even making sure you have someone to take care of the legal transaction.

Having all these things in place means the transaction can go much faster once you've found your new home.

How does MoveReady reduce fall throughs?

When you're selling a property, you might worry that the person buying will pull out of the deal, wasting time and money for everyone.

A big reason for this happening, is when the buyer finds out something about the property that they didn't know when they agreed to buy it.

When you're MoveReady, you share detailed information about the property you're selling ensuring the buyer has more upfront information when making an offer.

This transparency helps avoid nasty surprises later in the process, reducing the chances of the sale falling through.

From November 2023, sharing upfront property information became law under the consumer protection act. The MoveReady property profile helps you meet these legal requirements.

How does MoveReady help me get the home I want?

When you've found the home you want, you will make an offer for the amount of money that you think it's worth.

When the seller hears about your offer, they don't just think about the amount. They also want to know that you can afford the amount you have offered and that you're serious about moving. 

When you're MoveReady, your offer is taken more seriously as it shows the seller that you can afford the amount you've offered and that you have everything in place to buy their property.

Some sellers will even accept a lower amount if it means they can sell faster and with less hassle!

Why does MoveReady cost more for sellers?

If you're selling, getting MoveReady includes a property profile that helps you to share detailed information about your property and helps you meet consumer protection legal requirements.

To make this easier, we gather lots of data about your property from our data providers, including Land Registry, Gov.UK and Ofcom which costs money. Buyers don't need a property profile, which is why it costs a little more for Sellers.
